About Nicky Tarricone, LPC

“Therapy with me is not about fixing you; it’s about discovering how you relate to yourself, your emotions, and your experiences. I believe that even in the most overwhelming seasons, you already hold the strength and resilience needed for healing.”

Nicky Tarricone, LPC

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in counseling from Boise State University. I began my career supporting adolescents in a nature-based wilderness setting and have since worked with both adolescents and adults in a variety of environments, from inpatient psychiatric hospitals to private practice.

Why "Rivers of the Moon"?

Just as rivers carve new paths and the moon reflects light in the darkest skies, healing is a journey of movement and renewal. At Rivers of the Moon Counseling, I believe that even in life’s most uncertain seasons, you carry the strength to find your way back to yourself. Here, you’ll find a compassionate space to release what feels heavy, reconnect with your authenticity, and create a life guided by resilience, acceptance, and hope.

Healing Begins with Connection

At Rivers of the Moon Counseling, I believe healing is about more than overcoming challenges—it’s about reconnecting with your truest self.

I help parents and adults create space for compassion, resilience, and growth, especially when life feels overwhelming or uncertain. Rooted in a trauma-informed lens, my approach blends evidence-based practices with a deep respect for your story, honoring both the pain you carry and the strength you already hold. My goal is to offer a collaborative space where you feel understood, supported, and hopeful—so you can embrace authenticity, build greater acceptance, and move toward a life aligned with your values.
